Advise on whether retaking a class is the right decision?

Hi I recently took multi-variable calculus during the summer at the Jr college I attend. They operate on a grading system where + and - grades don't exist. So Instead of the B+ I would have gotten, I got a B. I blame myself, It was a bad decision to take it during the summer. However, it was at least good I took the class because now I am able to take linear algebra and matrix theory at a local university. Which means I can stay on schedule and take real analysis by my second semester of my sophmore year. So that is good. I am also ahead a bit in credits by like 3 hours. So If I retake it I will have 45 hours by the end of my thirds semester of college, which is what the books say I should be at. I know retaking a class could go both ways. If I had made an A my GPA would have been a 3.9 but now its a 3.78 so I think it is understandable why I am concerned. I don't know guys, what do you think? Could retaking it just emphasis the blotch on my permanent record?

It is not worth retaking a college course you got a B in.

It’s not worth retaking it. That time would be better spent getting a Gen Ed course or an elective course finished. A B is a good grade, and a 3.78 GPA is a great GPA.
