Advise: What would you do?

Ok, so I'm really not trying to sound whiny but I just wanna know what to do. In my AP Span. 4 class, my teacher gives us grades for "participation" which are worth 20% of our total average, so a good amount. She'll like put up a picture or something and ask us to say stuff to her in spanish (obviously we have to raise our hands and she calls on us). But instead of writing down the names of people that raise their and and make an effort to participate, she writes down the names of the students that SHE calls in, in essence she gives the good grades to students that she picks/likes (either way). I sit in the back (we have assigned seats) and don't get called as often as others so and my grade suffers. I got an 80 though I had my hand raised high the whole time.

So...Should I email her, talk to her, or just suck it up and have my grades hurt?

***talk to her about her grading system that is

Definitely email her. 20% is a pretty big amount of your grade to just give up. If she called on you, that 80 could’ve been a 100. Talk to her about it!

Tell her how you feel in Spanish. She’ll definitely give you those points then.

Lol @TinnyT. Should I email her or should I ask my mom to? I realize that this is a stupid question btw

You should. Parents should never get involved until things get a bit more serious. Try first emailing her yourself first, if your teacher resists, then get the parents involved.

K thanks for the advice (:
