Anyone going the earliest date? It doesn't seem as if many people are, though they do tell you that it's best to go sooner and have priority class registration.

where can you see the dates?

On the Advising and Orientation web page where you sign up for it…

I want to sign up for the earliest session of orientation, but I can’t access the page yet! When does the orientation dates start?

The first session is this Thursday and Friday. I’m pretty sure you just have to pay your enrollment fee and you’re good to go.

Ya I’m waiting for them to process my enrollment fee- I want to start signing up for stuff!

You’ll know when you log into My UW if they processed the fee. The first page changed. Woohoo! I have to get two measles vaccines, so I can’t sign up until August.

Are you guys talking about transfers or freshmen? I am a transfer and the earliest date available for me was July 13…

I was talking about freshmen. Apparently everyone else was thinking transfer.

for transfers, could someone please post the link of how to register for an A&O orientation. For some reason, my computer won’t let me go onto the website through how I normally do it. Thanks!

[Advising & Orientation (A&O) | First Year Programs](http://fyp.washington.edu/?page_id=10)

About half way down there is a button that says “registration application”. Press that.

A lot of people have posted on the UW 2015 FB page how their A&O went (I’m talking freshmen! haha)

Advice I’ve gleaned so far:
-Wear walking shoes
-Bring a nice-sized backpack with snacks and money for food
-Have lots of backup classes (especially if your orientation date is later)

@momomomo: Yep, that’s correct. Also, dress for the weather. I’m at Ode right now, and was in South Lake Union/Downtown earlier today and it was raining.
