<p>I contacted the school yesterday regarding the fact that my SOLAR account didn't update with my orientation date (which they gave me the info on last Friday). Today, since my SOLAR was updated, I decided I'd complete the Advising Planning Form, but now I'm getting an "SQL error has occurred" pop-up from SOLAR telling me that something went wrong when I tried to submit the first page. </p>

<p>We need to sign up for our Math Assessment tests ASAP, since all Transfer students will be taking them before Orientation. How are we supposed to do so if SOLAR keeps having problems? I need to know how soon I need to come up with the money for a round-trip LIRR ticket or what time I need to be at the train, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who will be commuting that day.</p>

<p>Now that SOLAR is fixed it’s asking me to pick a date 7 or more days before Orientation to take my Math Assessment, but the first date available is 1/2/2010 and my Orientation is on 1/8/2010. </p>

<p>What’s going on here? I’m getting worried.</p>

<p>How long after paying the deposit did it take for admissions to assign you an Orientation date?</p>

<p>I called them and had to make a fuss. Their computers were down. It took me a week or two, but I’ve learned that if I have a problem I need to call and ask what’s going on. They have a ton of students to deal with. </p>

<p>Did you pay all of your dues and whatnot?</p>
