Need Help Fast. I'm filling in a transfer application and it asks for my school advisor. My school doesn't really have assigned advisors. Or at least, they didn't tell me about them. What do I write down?

The closest thing there is to an advisor is a major advisor and I haven't declared yet.

call the school. Seriously, the people who work there get paid to answer questions like this; it's not like they are going to deny you based on the fact that you ask too many questions or anything. In fact they won't even know who you are unless you tell them.

I agree with Gauis Baltar. Although a lot of schools have advisors who have to sign off on your course schedule at registration, even if you don't know the person. Ask at your school how you should complete that blank or ask at the school where you're applying. If you don't have an advisor, after you've tried this, just put na (not applicable) in the space, or tbd.

I went through the same problem. I went to the college's advising office, asked to see an advisor and had them log onto my common app. account and put in the info... I left them a resume, and some copies of school related stuff should they be contacted.
