Advisors...

Has everyone received some sort of correspondence from their advisor? An e-mail? A letter? Or anything? I got into Tepper off of the waitlist, and I ahve not heard from my advisor yet. I have some questions, but with no advisor I have nobody to ask...

I haven't heard anything yet, but I'm in MCS... depending on the questions, you could probably post them here or call and ask

I called my advisor after getting the course registration thing in the mail. I think her name is Katya, but I'm not certain. I also talked to Professor Gosh of the Physics Department about scheduling courses. Just call them up, they seemed really nice and helpful. lol but I still don't know how to cut down my course-load next year(more my fault than theirs tho).

When did you receive your course registration information? I didn't receive that, and I'm starting to get a little worried.. by the way, I'm in MCS also (for Chemistry).

i think you just get a letter that says to go to

the course stuff is on there.

O crap. There's an English placement test too?

Has anyone from Tepper received course registration packet or been assigned an advisor?

corrrect me if I'm wrong but the english placement, for mcs, is just if english is not your home language, right?

I'm in Tepper and I haven't recieved any info on registration or advisors yet.

looking at the MCS registration form... so we don't get to pick a preference for sections of 76-101 Interpretation and Argument?

Yeah... that's what it seems cheetah_pita.
