Aed, Pde

I'm interested in joining a health-related frat, and so far I know of Alpha Epsilon Delta and Phi Delta Epsilon. Does anyone have any experience with either of these (or another health frat that I don't know about yet)?

I'm wondering about
- how much they help you, profession-wise
- time commitment during pledging AND as an active
- the people in the frat
- comparisons between the two?

AED is an honor society, not a frat.

I don’t like some of the people in PDE, they are terrible people who you should stay far far away from. My lab partner agrees.

I think that AED is considered both a professional fraternity and honors society. You need to meet the 3.2 GPA requirement.

Honors society just requires new candidates to meet certain requirements and can be inducted almost immediately after membership is paid.

I don’t think the time commitment is close to that of social fraternities, but I believe you have to commit to attending activities.

So AED is not just an honors society.

Yeah I saw that AED was a pre-health honor society, and from the “brotherhood” and “rush” scattered everywhere on the website I assumed it was a frat. So is there an actual pledge process?

Ya, this year, they wore these disgusting lime green scrubs on Wednesdays.

i have a couple friends in AED…i always thought it was frat
