AEM + chances

<p>Hey, does anyone know the acceptance rate for AEM in CALS?</p>

<p>And how about rating my chances for applying to it ED:</p>

<p>caucasian male from rural Maine</p>

<p>gpa: 94.5 uw, 96.15 weighted (thus far... at the middle of this coming year, i should have a 99 or 100 weighted gpa and a 95 uw.)
Current rank : 9/325. rank after the next semester will be around 4-5/310
SAT: 700 math, 710 writing, 600 reading - 2010. < retaking, and studying like crazy
ACT: 28 < retaking and studying like crazy as well</p>

JAzz band and concert band: 1st chair alto sax in both
13 years of piano lessons
French Club - trip to france and fundraisers
Destination Imagination - 1st in regionals, 2nd in states
Drama Club - numerous festivals and performances
Voting member of my county's theater company - many staring roles

Character Building Committee
Leadership Team
Student Summit coordinator (organized an event that got 100 students and teachers to discuss solutions to problems in our school. the actual action will get done this coming year)
Bullying prevention at elementary schools
INternship and local elementary school
Mock Trial club
INternational Cultural Exchange Club</p>

<p>Made a world record rubber band ball for a "minor." recieved tons of awards and aprobation from people all over the country. <my essay is about this</p>

<p>and actually, most people that get into good business schools don't have any EC's related to business. Even at Wharton. Look it up if you have to.</p>

<p>I thought you apply to a particular school in Cornell, and not a program?</p>

<p>AEM is an exception.</p>

<p>In the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, you apply to your major.</p>
