AEM Vs. Umich Ross

Umich is better ranked, better student to teacher ratio and just got a new building yet cornell isnt far behind in ranking, and has name recognition? Im not from mich so its basically the same price. Is there much differnce between the two recruitment wise?

Ross is definitely a very solid program. And there's not much difference in terms of recruitment, although Michigan probably recruits better into Chicago.

If it were me, I would choose based on which school's campus I felt more comfortable at.

I am currently employed at a top hedge fund and was a former AEM student. This is a no brainer...recruiting at ivies dominates recruiting at schools like UMICH...recruiters don't care about those rankings..but rather, selectivity of the overall institution.;

bump
I’d like to hear more about this. Possible Cornell/Ross Transfer

at this point i think it depends on the culture…

AEM is very small here…not sure about how small it is there…

there might be a better caliber of students at that state school though…since AEM is watered down by jocks

I though Ross was a three years program wheeras AEM is four years. So in that respect Ross is mroe like Hass or Sloan (although - some would say - not as respected).

AEM is ivy, Ross (even if ranked higher in some rankings) is not.

I would agree with Cayuga - whichever campus feels like the right fit.
