Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering

Who's motivated to pursue this? :D

I want to go into test flights. I'm going to be a flight deck officer then my dream job would be working for the Blue Angels.

That's what I'm majoring in! I'm interested in a minor in aviation safety so i can work for the government or an airline in that field. Dream job is at the National Transportation Safety Board. (I go to Embry-Riddle in Prescott) =)

Yeah, we've talked before (i was usunkmyb_ship). I won't start my major until fall 2006 :( After seeing the wind tunnels and the engineering labs at the Naval Academy I had one big aerogasm. OMG they have their own satellight control center and the students were building a new satellight to launch into space. drools

Yup, I remember you! Ya, my school is so awesome. I can't wait to get into the real engineering stuff next semester. They are building a new lab right now that will be great with all the windtunnels and equipment together. But, what i Like most is that everyone at the school is interested in aerospace (pilots, engineers, physics, space studies, etc).

Aerogasm ..... :-)

gonna be majoring in aeronautical engineering here too

What are your career plans Soshamim?

I would also like to go into aeronautical engineering. I'd love to go to the Air Force Academy and then get a degree in Astronautical Engineering, serve my country for a couple years, and then end up at NASA. That would be my ideal plans. But, I'll probably just go to University of Washington, major in Aeronautical Engineering, and end up at Boeing. Not sure, yet.

I got to visit the Boeing production center last winter... it was AMAZING. I'd love to work there.

I would love to work for Boeing too but I really want to go for Lockheed-Martin.
