Please help me out here, when I visited in may I was told that only 7% of aerospace engineering applicants are accepted so I'm a bit worried.

Is that true about the 7 percent acceptance rate? That seems a bit low… All I know, is that my son will be a sophomore aerospace engineering major this year. He is out of state, his stats were 4.0 UW, 4.22 W, had an ACT of 31 with a Math ACT score of 35…To me it seems like your scores are good enough to be accepted, but I am not the Admissions Office…Good luck!

I agree with Rousse54; I think your scores are good enough to get in to the program. But I’d follow her excellent suggestion and check with a CU admissions counselor just to make sure you’ve got correct information. Good luck with your admissions process!!

Yeah it seemed a little far fetched to me too. Thanks guys

Remember at CU you can be accepted into general engineering even if you don’t get the aerospace designation as an incoming freshman. You then apply to aerospace after your freshman grades are in. Many freshman engineering students follow this path (possibly the majority).
