Does anybody know how good the engineering master’s program is at Pomona? I’m thinking of going to Cal Poly Pomona for grad school if I don’t find a job by the time I graduate. lol is it weird to go from Cal Poly SLO undergrad to Cal Poly Pomona for grad?

I actually went through Cal Poly’s Grad program in ECE. Overall I think it was a positive experience, similar to undergrad, the class size were small and you have plenty of teacher to student interaction. About half the students there were already working so networking came into handy. During my time, there was a budget shortfall and lots of the research we have to ask for industry support funds… or you can do it for free. Take advantage of availability of professors. After graduation, I was able to find a job fairly easy but I had some experience going in, so that might be a bit biased. I work for a bigger corporation and Cal Poly has a good reputation around so-cal.

Good luck
