You might look at UA Huntsville if your grades convert to a 3.5 or higher, SAT would get you a full tuition scholarship
http://www.uah.edu/admissions/undergraduate/financial-aid/scholarships/merit-tuition-scholarships
You need a minimum new SAT of 1490 to even apply for Mcdermott
http://www.utdallas.edu/mcdermott/award-qualifications
If you bring up your SAT and qualify for AES be aware it will be for tuition only, as an international student you will not qualify for the stipend
Look here:
http://aes.utdallas.edu/prospective-freshmen/awards
With your current SAT you will likely get a AES Achievement $3000 scholarship which will also give you in state tuition I believe. If you can increase your SAT to 1470 you will likely get full tuition AES Distinction but will not get the stipend unless you can legally work in the US. You have no chance at McDermott with even with your guess of a 1450 SAT because that is below the minimum need to apply.
Have you applied to UAH as I suggested?
I have’nt really applied anywhere yet.Waiting for my SAT results to drop in and then I will finalize my college list .Also ,isn’t UTDallas better than UAH for computer science
UAH and UTD’s computer science programs are both accredited by ABET which is the important thing. Not sure what criteria you are using for “better”. If UTD doesn’t work out to be affordable for you than UAH is a good option.
Got a 1440 ,superscore :1470.
BUMP.
