AES/McDermott Chances?

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I was recently accepted into the Political Science major at UTD. I was wondering my chances for an AES scholarship (and also what level)/the McDermott Scholarship?</p>

<p>Stats:
SAT Composite: 2170
CR: 800 W: 780 Math: 590
GPA: 4.0 (homeschooled, but supported by community college and semester school)
25 hours of dual credit through community college
Member of the Austin Community College Honors Program and National Collegiate Spanish Honor Society.
Senior Year Classes: Spanish II and III (dual credit), Honors History II (dual credit), chemistry, precalculus.
Attended Conserve School, a semester school program in Wisconsin.</p>

<p>ECs:
-Moot court
-Debate/speech
-Mock trial
-Model UN
-Piano/Voice/Choir
-Swim team</p>

<p>Work Experience
-Lifeguard for 3 years
-Swim instructor/coach for 2 years</p>

<p>Community Service
-500+ hours through YMCA TeenCourt Program, Conserve School, church, kindergarten aide program.</p>

<p>I’m sure you will get AES, although that 590 math doesnt look so great. Not sure I can say the same for McDermott.</p>
