I am also highly involved in AFJROTC at my school. I have held numerous leadership positions, and will be corp commander my senior year (equivalent to president). I will graduate with close to 300 volunteer hours.

I realize that this is a lot to post but any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

I would say you’re on the right track… Just do well on the ACTs/SATs and have a solid interview with ur liaison officer because that REALLY helps alot!!

Just a suggestion, but I think you should lose the frame of mind that led you to end the title of your post with “Help” followed by 8 exclamation points. This makes me think to myself: Do I really want to rely on this person to defend my country? Flying a plane on a combat mission?

Stats-wise, you look fine. The only iffy thing I see are your standardized test scores potentially being on the low side.

Is your GPA scale out of 4.0?

You might also try, along with the other suggestions, to apply for the summer seminar. This is a good indication of how they are looking at you and where you stand. Also, it’s a good chance for you to take a look at them and see if you really want it as bad as you think. The summer seminar is at the end of your junior year and must be applied for in the late fall/early winter of your junior year.

I see that you are doing well on the Golf team, but (not to disparage golf) how is your physical fitness in general?

Of course, grades and scores are important at USAFA and all Service Academies, but as you are probably well aware, these are not the only attributes they look for. The suggestion to look into Summer Seminar is a good idea.
