Affirmative Action and College Admissions

<p>AA may have played a part, but I seriously doubt that it carried her that far. Being a triple Ivy admit seems to me that she was simply an outstanding candidate.</p>

<p>Truthfully, her applications were probably just better than yours were. Being neck in neck in terms of GPA is completely meaningless, considering that most Ivy admits are in the top 1% of their class. Your essays & extracurriculars weren’t probably as good as hers were. Also, your individual personality may have not connected with the adcoms.</p>
