<p>One of the issues that has not been discussed is the fact that more than half of all "black" students in the top colleges and universities are biracial and/or children of immigrants (African or Caribbean). There was a front page article on this in the New York Times several years ago. These students tend to score much higher on exams that Black Americans . It indicated that the very students that affirmative action was established for (the descendants of Black Americans) are not the ones who are the beneficiaries of programs in the top 250 colleges and universities.</p>
