“I have heard that OH State merit is good and often better than what Cincinnati offers to most applicants.” Unfortunately, this is not true for most in-state applicants. OSU is pretty stingy with merit for in-state applicants, unless they hit the lottery and get one of the 50 Eminence scholarships they offer. Standard merit scholarship for high stats kids that are in-state is a 5K award per year.
