Affordable Schools with Strong Civil Engineering Programs

I am trying to decide which colleges to apply to for civil engineering preferably in Illinois or surrounding states. Please suggest schools that I have a shot at being accepted to.

My Stats:
3.95 unweighted GPA
31 ACT (32 Eng, 34 Math, 27 Reading, 32 Science)
Heavily involved in Cross Country and Track
AP Calc BC(5) and APUSH(4) junior year
Illinois Resident

So far I have been considering
UIUC
Bradley
Iowa State
North Carolina State
Purdue
But they all seem so expensive except for Bradley because of easy scholarships

I’m looking into going back to school for engineering but my stats are nowhere near yours. You have a pretty good shot at going wherever you want. I’m from Missouri and a bunch of friends who are majoring in Engineering usually go to Rolla Missouri or MIZZOU. I’m not exactly sure how they are compared to the schools you listed, but everyone I talk to says they are the top in the Midwest.

UW-Platteville has civil and environmental engineering and has some merit aid that is awarded on a rolling basis so applying earlier is better.
