I’ve been stressing a lot about JMU, it’s my number one choice even though I’ve applied to harder ones. I’m a guy if that helps at all as well, my freshman and sophomore years my grades were not that good I dealt with depression both years and eventually I started playing football my sophomore year and it changed me into a completely different person. My GPA shot up from 3.1 to a 3.7 Junior year, my cumalitive currently is a 3.28 though because of freshman and sophomore year. I also have an 1870 SAT score or 1280 combined, I’ve taken AP Lang AP Physics AP World and multiple honors courses but I overwhelmed myself my early years with so many hard courses because my parents pushed me to take them and I never stopped to think if I could handle it at the time. I also have three years of football, three years of FBLA, two years of Future Health Professionals Club of which I am a co president, two years of Robotics and also a good personal statement as I’ve been told down below. In addition to this I have a good letter of recommendation from my football coach who has sent two other football players to JMU last year both of whom currently play there although I am not interested in an athletic scholarship. Do you think I could get in? I can link my essay as well it relates to depression and how football got me out of it.

But in general there is no need to stress since nothing can be done now. It is never wise to get your heart set on one particular school. If you applied to a good range of reach, match, and safety schools you should be fine regardless.
How do I move it over sorry
