Afraid of Getting Rescinded

I got an F in AP Calculus AB my senior year My 10-11 UW GPA is 3.67 and weighted is 3.92. I've already been accepted to University of San Francisco and San Francisco State University as Nursing majors. Now, I'm awaiting decisions from the UC's and other CSU's. I'm terrified (as anyone is) of getting rescinded from the schools I've already been accepted to and possible future ones.

So, my question is: Will I get rescinded from these colleges for getting F in an AP course my senior year?

Yes, you face the possiblity of being rescinded for the “F”. Provisional admission for the UC’s and Cal States, is to maintain your GPA and no D’s or F’s in a-g courses. I would be proactive and contact the schools that you have been accepted and see if they will work with you.

If a student receives a D or F in an a-g where they have already fulfilled the minimum number of credits required, is it still a problem? For example if OP has three years of math and AP Calc is just an extra year, does OP still run the risk of being rescinded? I’ve never been clear about this.

Regardless if you have already fulfilled your a-g course requirement, a D or F in your senior year will be a reason for being rescinded. UC’s require you maintain a 3.0 GPA with no D’s or F’s while Cal States specifically state no D’s or F’s in senior courses. Like I stated above, be proactive and contact the schools, since most are willing to work with you since you have been already accepted.
