After Acceptance

My friend recently got accepted to American University, and they have a cool sort of facebook for accepted students. Its great, and has a huge chatroom where people can talk and get to know their future classmates.

Does anyone know if Harvard does something like this?

I know that a lot of my friends have joined these for other colleges. I suppose we’ll know come April.

I know Harvard has something like that on their website. I only stumbled upon it accidentally, so I’m sorry to say I have no idea what the url is or anything. But to answer your question, yes they do  we probably won’t be made aware of it until April though.

Towards the bottom of this article, they mention chat rooms and message boards for admitted students. While this was last year, I assume they’ll do the same this year. You’re welcome.

when you get accepted, Harvard will offer two services: 1) Online chats which will be available on specific days at specific hours (two days for our class) and a message board. The message board is essentially the same as the one that is already online. you can find it @ [Harvard College Admissions § About Harvard: Message Board Moderators](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/about/students/uac/messageboards.html)

Sweet!

Hopefully we’ll all be on there ;)
