How low can you let your gpa drop? No more than .2? Exp: 3.9 to 3.7.
Also, what if my overall gpa is about the same but I got 1 C in a class. Example: A,A,A,A,A,A,C instead of B+,B+,A,A,A,B+,A

It depends on the school, but from what I've heard you'd have to bomb pretty badly to have your acceptance revoked.

Yeah, that's what I've heard to. Just don't fail. I'd stay out of the C-range too. And don't drop classes. :)

hmm anyone else?

I'd say that -10% would be a safe drop; some slump is expected, regardless of what they say.

Certainly don't drop more than 20%.

(Note: I completely made up these numbers. This is the vague impression that I've gotten from my research. There is no hard and fast rule.)

what if you drop an elective to get early dismisal? my acceptance was to FSU, not harvard... if that makes a difference ;)

I just checked A is for Admission.

Hernandez says that the maximum reasonable drop in grades would be from 5 A's (pre-acceptance) to 2 A's and 3 B's (post-acceptance). This is -15%.
