Is there anything we have to do or fill out after we pay our deposit after getting in ED?

I don’t think so…I think we’ll get more material in april. Meanwhile, if you have a facebook, there’s a group for accepted students… people are already looking for roommates through fb, so maybe that.

Cool! And what if we applied for financial aid? Do we fill out the Fafsa form?

While some people rush and fill out the FAFSA on Jan 1 (using 2012 tax info). it looks like Cornell wants ED students to do it by Feb 15 (after getting instructions from college board in Feb) with 2013 tax info, which will be difficult for some to complete. At least that’s how I understand it.

This To Do List for new students is unclear to me. The ED acceptance letter in the mail basically says to wait until April to hear back about housing, etc., and this list has many items due in January. Can someone clarify? It almost seems like this should be the list for transfer students.

Renomamma, fairly certain that’s for transfers.

Are there any benefits of filling out the Fafsa early or is February fine?

@ Pandabanda what is the Facebook group called? I can’t find it

Its just “Cornell University Class of 2018”
I found two, but one has a lot more people/looks more official.
