After four years of a high school language, how many credits do people generally test out in college

i am just curious to know if my placement is generally normal or not..

after four consecutive years of taking a language in high school.... (i know every college is different) but how many years did you get off/what level did you start at freshman year of college?

I’m probably going to get 14 hours of Spanish credit at the University of Alabama for the CLEP test. Typically, the answer to your question is a lot. Language 101 classes are designed for people who don’t speak a language at all, so four years of practice with it will put you much further along than that.
