Even if your own personal Telebears Appointment ends, can you still enter the system and add/drop during open hours? From what I gather, you can't access until your appointment starts, and then after your appointment ends, you have open hours...can anyone confirm this? I would still like some more time to decide which class to take, and while I'm not worried the class will fill, I want to be able to drop old classes to make room for new ones.

yes. (10char)

^^ what he said

Can you add/drop during telebears adjustment period too? The name suggests that you can adjust your schedule, but I’m wondering if there’s a catch (ex. you can only switch discussion periods, and not add/drop classes).

Lastly, has anyone signed up for an extra class just to go into the semester and tried it out to see if it was to your liking? I understand you can still get rid of a class a few weeks into the semester–if you do that, does it show up on your transcript as a failed or dropped class? I believe I read that if you do it before the deadline, you can just go to telebears and drop. Is it really as simple as that?

Thanks!

yes, you can add/drop during adjustment.

yes. if you drop it early enough there’s nothing in your transcript. after a certain deadline (week 5 i believe) it shows up as withdrawn. after an even later deadline (week 10?) you get an F. yes it’s as simple as that. have fun trying different classes :)

Haha, ok. Thanks for the reply! It seemed like a good idea to take advantage of this and try some things out (might as well, if given the opportunity, right?).

yeah, it’s very common here, don’t worry.

Oh, and I also just found this out yesterday: During Phase II you can only do a max. of 16 units, but after August 14 you can add up to 21 units, I’ve heard yay
