after prom?

<p>i don't really know much of this whole "prom" thing, but where do most of y'all generally go after it? does ur school usually have some kind of after prom thing at another location? or is it done at the school? i would like to know how other places and people do it</p>

<p>our school doesnt have anything. i guess people go to party's or go home!</p>

<p>The parental organization of my high school hosts an after-prom party at our high school right after the dance. But I've heard a lot of people just go to parties at other places</p>

<p>we go to a big gigantic field party which a ton of people there, including a ton of people who didn't even go to prom</p>

<p>our school prefects organise it and the location is a secret so the cops dont bust the place. There's going to be parents there to supervise but it's like, they r supervising underage drinking..which is weird.. At the end of the prom, some buses come and pick us up and they take us to this location.Then we drink/party. Then, at 4.00am the buses drop us off at school where our parents/taxis pick us up. It's really funny because we have to pay our afterparty money to this random bank account and get our tickets at exactly 5.00pm at this house on some street. After our afterparty, we go to our own after-after parties.</p>

<p>we're locked in til like 6 in the morning, it sucks.</p>

<p>Most of the kids from my school (and most of Jersey for that matter) go down to the shore for the weekend.</p>

<p>kids at my school rent a buncha hotel rooms or all of them end up getting the same floor at a hotel and just partying all night</p>

<p>i just went to my prom+after prom last weekend. it was pretty cool. the after prom was held at my school (prom at a different place), but they didnt lock us in...instead, they gave out prizes and stuff to bribe kids into staying there the whole time. </p>

<p>it was still fun though, we played poker, ping pong, DDR, etc.</p>

<p>comedy clubs in nyc, house party in hamptons, cruise around nyc, parties on long island. choices abound but i choose comedy club</p>
