Do i create a gatorlink account? It says wait at least 2 days after app is submitted to create gatorlink

Yes! Wait the remaining amount of time and then create your gatorlink account. My advice is to make your gatorlink account name meaningful. (Your full name, first name with last initial, or something that’s creative and catchy but still professional as this is the university email address you will be stuck with!)

The gatorlink account name that you choose will also become your UF email address if admitted and you decide to attend UF.

*** Also *** make sure you submit your $25 housing application fee ASAP! The sooner you turn this in, the earlier your housing selection date once the housing portal becomes available for 2011 Summer - 2012 Spring housing, and you will have more flexibility in choosing which residential area you want and the respective styles (single, double, triple, late app triple, apartment).

hey Theos Rizos,

you mentioned about the $25 housing fee. Where can I find that? I’ve been admitted to UF for Spring 2011 and have already reserved for transfer orientation. I haven’t received my package in the mail yet but have already completed my immunization form. I’m expecting to receive my package soon, perhaps this week; will the housing fee application be there? You’re already a Gator so you have some experience, any insight will help! thanks!

Hey Stephanie.

[Apply for Single Student Housing – UF | Housing & Residence Education](http://housing.ufl.edu/apply/single.php)

That’s the link you’ll want to check out. (Same applies to you cc77mj) That page outlines the whole housing application process.

No problem - see you around!

thanks Theos Rizos!
