After the 800 dollar deposit....

Hey guys, i know is kind of early but have any of ya'll Early Decision people recieved a package regarding our room and board, courses selections, and orientation etc yet? i mailed NYU my 800 deposit about 3 weeks ago, and i havnt heard anything from them ever since.. just wondering if any of ya'll knows whats going on...

same here. -_- nothing happened.
BTW, can we not withdraw app’s to other schools? I’m worried that NYU may kick me out due to my terrible academic performance this year.

I have the same question as jess… i might get a D this semester in both Chem AP and Calc AP, can i just keep my UC apps for a safety?

I’m in the same situation as well. Except the reason I don’t want to withdraw all my other apps is because I’m worried that my actual financial aid package might be different from my estimate & I might not be able to afford nyu after all.

nostalgic: I believe that you don’t need to withdraw until you received your financial pacakge–as the ED agreement stated. =] Let’s check the agmt on Commonapp.

Kaiser:nod I haven’t withdrawn my Northwestern app yet, but I’m going to next week. Afterall we bith signed the ED contract. T-T But if you applied for financial aid, you don’t need to do anything now until NYU gives you a final $ figure.
