<p>Yes. It is better. Lots of acceptance letters say that to get a better housing spot you should send your deposit ASAP.</p>
<p>I don’t think so. From what I understand universities don’t allow you to start dorm selection until after a certain date, and I think that date is sometime after January. Though, maybe I was inform wrong and you can select dorms as soon as possible.</p>
