Aga Khan

I’m really nervous so I was wondering if someone who applied and got in could help me out here…
So yes I’m thinking of attending Aga khan in Karachi for medical school instead of staying in the US. My questions is: How competitive is it for American students? I never saw a questions asked like this here before.
Is it that hard for a person to get accepted? Or is it based solely on test scores? I also don’t have much “extracurricular achievements/scholastic awards” but I do have a pretty good GPA.
I’d appreciate a reply. I just want to hear what others have to say about this otherwise I’ll get discouraged from applying.

Found this booklet pretty quickly on their website (looks like it answers your questions): http://www.aku.edu/admissions/registraroffice/Documents/programme-information-MBBS.PDF

To be clear, you plan on permanently leaving the US? Going to AKU with intention to practice medicine in the USA is a very bad choice.

@iwannabe_Brown l:
Although I originally intended to go back to the US for residency, I have decided to stay at Pakistan if I don’t get a residency in US. I would love to practice medicine there and I don’t have any problems with being a permanent Doctor there.
Also, I did look at the booklet many times before. But it still doesn’t answer my question: What is the acceptance rate of American/other foreign going to AKU???

Perhaps the school in Pakistan can tell you if you write or call them.
