Age old question: what do you want to be when you "grow up?"

They've been asking it since we were in first grade, but the answer might vary over time :)

Anyway, I want to consel teenagers in one way or another. I would ideally like to be social worker for an inner city high school.

Hbu?

I want to do something with biochemistry/neuroscience.
I might want to be a doctor, or a researching professor.

Ideally, actress. However, going to school to be a film star is somewhat a joke. So my backup is nursing, specifically nurse anesthetist.

Investment adviser, but my backup plan is professor.

Political Analyst for the CIA or other government agency.

“Green” Chemical Engineer or Professor.

I want to be a Doctor. I am willing to do ANYTHING it takes…if I don’t become a Doctor my life will be boring because it’s the ONLY thing I want to do even a little bit.

Politician. Then I realized I had a soul, so I wouldn’t qualify.

I want to be a writer, illustrator, music composer, film director, and astrophysicist.

Special Education Teacher for Middle School

I am grown up. But I’m not anything. This is depressing.

I would love to write/photograph for National Geographic or work for the World Monuments Fund… I’m planning on an anthropology or ancient civilizations major.

Sent from my iPhone using CC

Either a patent attorney or a “weather-woman”.

I definitely want to be a nurse :)

Venture capitalist.

Yeah I don’t even know yet… :/

I want to be HAPPY.

I am considering becoming a doctor. I’m definitely majoring in something biology- or chemistry-related, maybe bioengineering or chemical engineering. Not sure yet.

As for my job, it must meet the following requirements:
It must be something I truly enjoy.
It must have good pay.
It must not steal all of my time with friends and family.

For all you folks wanting to become doctors, why is it? Is it because you want to save lives, you have passion for the subject, you like the prestige or you like the good pay?

Anyways, for me my dream is to run my own tech company in Silicon Valley :)

Screw a “job”. I’ll just find me a rich man or a “sugardaddy”. :stuck_out_tongue: IRL ,I’d like to be a Nurse with intentions of becoming a Nurse Practitioner,or a Physicians Associate . I want to be a healer not, a diagnoser (spelling?) like a doctor.
