Aggieland Saturday

Who went today? What were your impressions?

I went and I thought it was outstanding, especially the things they showed me in my prospective field of study. I learned alot of A&M and alot about my field.

can you elaborate a little bit more on your visit... what is your field exactly and what did you learn about the campus? i'd love to make a visit while classes are in session, but living in OH thats not gonna be possible...

Sure.

Aggieland Saturday was a huge open house type of thing for prospective students and their parents to check out what A&M is about. At Aggieland Saturday you could take campus tours in which they'd teach you some traditions of the school as well, go check out dorms, roam on your own, or go to an academic department and check out what they have to say and show you.

I'll be majoring in Aerospace Engineering if I do chose A&M, and they showed us their Flight Simulator, some of their labs and equipment, and some things that they are currently doing within the department (which included some really cool nano-technology). You could do this sort of thing for virtually any major they offer and many of these "stations" are held by professors within the department.

thanks for the feed back!
