<p>I would think that something that you write in class would be preferred, because its done under constraints, and is definitly your work. </p>

<p>sounds good; just make sure it photocopies well for the admissions office. Or photocopy it yourself and send that in (then you can also keep the original? Is that allowed?).</p>
