Alright so this whole time I've been planning on taking the Spanish, Math I, and World History SAT II in October. One problem. The ****ING collegeboard only offers the World History SAT II in December and June. I want to apply to Georgetown SFS EA, but I can't take World History until December and they require 3 SAT IIs. Is there ANYWAY I can take the test before December? Can I put pending on my Georgetown application and if so will that hurt my application? If no then what should I do? I haven't had US history yet, but I would be approximately 3/5 the way through the class when I took the test. I would much rather take World History. What if I called Georgetown and told them that I didn't know the collegeboard only offered World History twice a year and promise to take it in December. Ty for the help.

Neither Georgetown nor any other college will be sympathetic. They won't care and put in a special exception for you. I would suggest studying for a science area or US History.

ye.. agree with azsxdc..

*. Okay, I guess I'll have to study for US History. Well hopefully, I'll be ready for it. Ah man I'm SOOO *ED. Luckily I know a lil' bit about US History already.

you should self study Biology, because the SAT II for it is really easy << for the remaining summer. All you need to do is read the review for barron's SAT II bio and you'll get at least above a 700. And oh yeah, make sure to take the practice tests of course! those are really good practice and helped me a lot. But if you do think about taking SAT II bio remember to decide if your going to take Ecology or Molecular.

But if you remember stuff from your US history class... why not take SAT II US? Plus, the world history SAT II is really hard, or at least it was for me.

Good luck with the choice you make... but i recommend biology. But w/e you decide.

I may end up taking Biology since I took it Freshman year, but I took AP Environmental Science last year. I would obviously take the Ecology one. Hmm, I'll have to think about that, TY.

In a pamphlet I got from Georgetown, they state that there is no need to rush Subject Tests scores to apply for EA. They will just not consider them in your decision. If you are deferred EA, then they will add them into your file to consider you for the RD round.

Here we go:

Scores from SATII Subject Tests should be included if available. Please note that the Early Action review is based on information from freshman, sophomore and junior years, so it is not necessary to rush fall subject test scores. Fall scores will be added to an applicant’s file if the student is deferred to the regular review. The application and all supporting credentials must be postmarked by November 1.

Ty very much. So much for the person who said they weren't going to be sympathetic. TY ver much 19382. Alright, well I think I'm taking 3 in October, so they should be able to get them. I'm just gonna take Spanish, Math I, and Biology E. I would have to study for the WH one anyway because I really don't know much about history before the Renaissance. After that I know A LOT, but I don't know too much about like Aristotle, Romans, or Han China.

Akajjred my apologies for misleading u....
best of luck..

No problem, glad it was cleared up.
