Student Ambassador (Three Years) : Worked directly with CEO Rick Piercy to represent school in various venues including Sacramento in 2007, Washington D.C. in 2008, to discuss legislation with various lawmakers. Also responsible for giving tours to visitors.</p>

<p>CATALYST Ambassador (Two Years): Represented the tenth service-learning region of California. Have attended four retreats with other ambassadors. Our job is to promote and educate our local respective communities about the importance of incorporating service learning into curricula. We meet at least twice a year as a statewide group. In my region, I have started working on a final environmental service project for my senior year. I will also be the MC at the Environmental Youth Leadership Conference in Highland, CA in December. I will also facilitate a workshop at the 2009 National Service Learning Conference in Nashville, TN. </p>

<p>Your Writing and Ambassadorships stands out to me. However, your scores are on the line. The 800 on Spanish SAT 2 isn't all that impressive either, at least according to one UPenn adcom who told me to take a SAT 2 language test other than my native tongue. But since you're an URM, I'd say you have a fair chance at Stanford.</p>

<p>i don't think that your gpa is that "low" considering you're still ranked 6th in your class.</p>
