Ahh, damn, I really want to go to an Ivy, but am I good enough?

<p>Alright... uhm, well, for my freshman year & half of my sophomore year, my house was like, really screwed up, and I had to watch over my brothers & the like.</p>

<p>For my first semester of freshmen yr, I had a 66; second, 86. For sophomore yr, I had an overrall of 89, and from then on 90+</p>

<p>If anything, I would love to go to Dartmouth, Columbia, or Cornell. Oh, by the ay, I'm an African living in the Bronx attending a school in the South Bronx from a middle-class family.</p>

<p>I think you stand a decent shot (as decent as anyone else, anyway) if you talk to your GC and explain your unusual circumstances to her.</p>

<p>Oh btw, my school only offers 3 ap classes (2 of which i took)</p>
