AHH! Help please!!!!

I'm not sure what to do when the time comes for filling out my application for the UCs.

I've taken AP U.S. History but i know i did terrible which is why i plan on taking it again next may. I dont know if I will be able to take AP english lang this thursday. Let's say i dont know ap lang. So my records will have one incredibly low ap us history exam score and thats it.

I dont want colleges to think i didnt follow through with the ap program because i didnt take the ap eng lang exam because i will even if its not this year.

I also dont want colleges to think im not that bright because of my horribly low exam score.

I want to know if there is any way of indicating that i plan on taking those exams the may 08 when i will apply in nov 07.

Also i want to self study for macro but am i going to be able to put that on my application?

I dont want to seem like someone who is doing things just for the colleges.
I do things that i love doing. I pretty determined and self-motivated. but this whole college stuff is pretty overwhelming its hard to not think about things they might not like.

So if someone can give me advice on this, will i be able to put this on my application??

Thanks so much!!!

Colleges shouldn't take AP exam grades into consideration...and if they do...they won't read too much into it.

Plus, you do not have to report your scores.
If you put a UC down on your AP test, look at your AP student pack, and you can cancel that score report by sending in the back cover part.

Im not sure you can put self-study macro on the list of classes...if they ask what AP exams you are planning on taking or something, definitely write that in...but otherwise, I dont think you can.

I wouldnt worry too much about this. I don't think colleges will read too much into this...it will just be a simple...eh?...and then they'll look at the rest of your amazing application and be convinced that you are a good student (or however you portray yourself).

By the way, I'm pretty sure you can only take AP tests once unless you cancel the score. So I wouldn't count on doing the APUSH test again next year

you can take AP exams as many times as you wish

so i can take APUSH again.

ive heard from teachers that even though you dont know what you are doing for the AP exam still take it because if you dont it may seem as you dont follow through with the whole AP program.

all colleges see your scores abd all the times you've taken tests like SATs and everything like that (except PSAT)
