I recently got my April SAT scores and they were not at all what I had anticipated.

I am definitely going to retake. However, I am worried that colleges will look down on me for my initial sub-par scores.

Is this a valid concern?

If I get my socres to my target (2100) should I be worried about earlier scores?

B..............u...............m................p

as long as you dont retake too many times I dont think it is a problem

along the same lines, if I took SATs freshman year just to see how I would do... do colleges take that into account at all?

You all really worry too much. All most of them look at are the highest scores. Unless you take it a billion times, you're fine.

don't worry too much
I took SAT as a sophomore and got 1720!!!
luckily I got 2170 in April, but I'm still thinking about taking it for a third time.
