Just apply to a few SUNYs to be safe. You should have applied to Gtown EA (not binding, so it doesn't break the bank if you get in). I feel like you should get into one of the schools you labled as "match" and have a great chance at your reaches if your essays go well. Varsity sports is a big plus. You still have 2 days to do apps, so you could send the application before new years, and have your school send the other stuff late...

Syracuse is a safety for you..you should also get into Hamilton and Colgate.

BC and NYU are matches, I would say you have slightly better than a 50% chance at each of them

Your stats are very similar to mine and I got into JHU and waitlisted at Cornell (which school are you applying to?)

It couldnt hurt to throw in an application to binghamton or stony brook though, id go to bing over syracuse anyway unless youre a communications major.

thanks for posting, feeling better knowing i'll probably get in one of the matches.
ckmets i applied to both johns hokpins and cornell. how's Boston College btw?

u can apply to SUNY any time...but certain schools have deadlines, i thnk binghamton is 1/15 (common app says)...it also depends on hwo much space they have left for incoming freshmans
