this is my FINAL grade !!
am international

according to the grading system here, I have 2 Bs and 5As.
however, according to the US systerm, I have 1C+, 1B-, 1A-, 3A, 1A+...

in whichever case..AM I IN DANGER?!C+!!

sry for being paranoid =(

btw, I got that C+ because I messed up terribly on an exam that counts as 40%of the whole year…yup…

I can’t imagine you being rescinded…have a lovely break from your studies and relax.

see you in August…

You have absolutely NOTHING to worry about…

people get straight Cs and survive…

It’s the Ds and Fs that raise eyebrows…

well it depends why you were accepted. i mean, if you were accepted because you’re an athlete or something, they won’t rescind. but if you were accepted for being really good at school and passionate about academics, then yeah theres a chance they will. these schools dont want kids who just get good grades to get into college to lie about their passions

^ignore #6…dont really understand how that was called for

They absolutely will not rescind for grades like that. Not in a million years. Not even if you had merit aid.

Rescinds are very rare (MAYBE two a year, if even that many) and are generally for drug related offenses or grades that border on all D/s all Fs.

Just because you were admitted for being an academic student rather than a sports participant has nothing to bear on the situation - nevermind the fact that CMU does not admit athletes solely for their athlete status (we’re D3 so we don’t offer any sports scholarships, admissions guarantees, likely letters, etc for athletes at all).

All of this rescinding crap is way overhyped because of all the media attention when it began about 4-5 years ago. It’s like how you hear about a couple shark attacks in the news and suddenly everyone sees fins swimming around them when they go out in the ocean.

Well, because completelykate is actually a students and ilikecollage is a ■■■■■ and causes issues. hahahappy should just be happy.

pretty sure im a student…
