okay, so I have already been accepted to College of Wooster, Allegheny, Washington and Jefferson, and Saint Vincent College.
I thought I had nearly narrowed it down, but I just visited Allegheny this past weekend and liked it nearly as much as Wooster, my previous top choice, as they are very similar.
I was hoping that some current or prospective students/parents, whoever really, from either Wooster or Allegheny, or the other two schools I'm looking at - Denison and Colgate - could offer some insight or their subjective opinions on the schools.
I'm hoping that I won't be stressing on May 1st, wondering where to send the deposit to!
Thank you so much!

My son looked at both schools and applied to and was accepted at Allegheny. This is just based on campus visits and reading about them. I liked Wooster a lot more than my son did-obviously. Wooster struck me as more academically oriented, they set aside a day just student research. There was a lot of emphasis on how the labs are set up so students would have access.

Allegheny is a bigger school (relatively speaking) and seemed very focused on the entire student experience. They really emphasized bringing in speakers and entertainment for the students and lots of outdoor activities. Very impressive student center, ds really liked the human scaled chess board. In some ways that I can’t really explain, I felt that they had more “hands on” applications of studies through their political center, tv center, etc.

While it’s not much help, I really don’t think you could go wrong with either school.
