Alright, i just took chem and math 2 in june and got my scores back today. I am satisfied with chem (got a 740) but I did not manage my time well at all on the math test and made more than a few careless errors and ended up with a 630. I got a 700 on the SAT I, and have gotten As in every math class I've enrolled in in high school (will be taking AP Calc next year), so colleges should know that I am good at math. I'm applying to some competitive schools (including Carnegie Mellon, Bucknell, UVA, Dartmouth, and Cornell) with an interest in engineering. I am going to retake the SAT I in October (the last date which will have scores ready for ED applications), and I do plan on applying ED somewhere. Should I just retake the math subject test in November and apply ED to a school which doesn't require SAT IIs? Which good engineering schools don't require these tests?
