<p>I, for some STUPID reason, am doing the pomona app, not the common app, so I still have my 2 essays to write. Looking at this board, I feel like the only person who is behind. And my admissions rep said that essays are REALLY important. Oh man I'm so nervous!</p>

<p>I did the Pomona app too, but I just used my common app essay for one of essays. One of prompts was "Pick a topic that will give you the opportunity to express to us a sense of how you think, what issues and ideas are most important to you, a sense of your personal philosophy, traits, goals, etc." I mean that pretty much says write anything that somehow shows your personality, so that should cover your common app essay and save you some crucial time.</p>
<p>Yeah I totally would, except my essay is about a person's influence on me, so it's about my aunt, which is kinda random.</p>
<p>Last November, on the night of the ED deadline, I was still tweaking my essays. I got to FedEx at 9:05 PM and begged them to send it that night. Luckily, they did. And it all worked out. But those were scary times. What's my point? Don't wait until the last minute. But since you have, it still will probably work out. Good luck!</p>
