Ok... so I just submitted the Common app and Stanford supplement. I am in PST time zone and so is Stanford, but since the common app is on eastern time (which I totally didn't realize until now!! urgh!H!!) it says it was submitted on Jan 2. WAS MY APP LATE?!?!

You know, my situation is probably worse though-I didn't even get a confirmation email saying that the supplement was turned in from commonapp, the site was so slow at 9pm. On the main page it says the app was submitted but the date on there is 01/02 =/

Thanks Sequoia! I had a good feeling that things would be okay

Hm, did you get a confirmation email from them, dancer?

When I clicked submit, there was an error page-I went back to the my colleges list, and supplement was in (green text), the date was 01/02 on the page and on the bottom. It was downloadable and I could still read through it just fine-however, I have yet to receive a confirmation email. I got one for every other payment and application I sent in so =/

Some schools are reasonable with this kind of stuff, a minute or two won't kill you. But with many if not most other schools, it would be considered late.

More good news though: My application status changed from "Submitted 01/02" to "Downloaded 01/02" - meaning Stanford accepted the application?

Best wishes to both of us. Don't worry about the payment-I'd do it right now but I've heard some colleges have until later. And as Sequoia said, there's time until 12am PST.

Thanks sequoia, you rock! because that's what I thought Stanford did but wasn't sure. whewww, hey everyone, i submitted my stanford app near the last minute too
