ahhh!! stupid WRITING!!

I only wrote three paragraphs for the essay and didn't get to a concluding paragraph. If the content/grammer/syntax in my first three paragraphs is good, what grade can I expect? In other words, how much does no conclusion hurt you?

Were we suspposed to agree with the quote only or could we disagree with the quote?

you could disagree or agree - just need support to back it up

Hey, I'm wondering... did any of you use Barron's book to prepare? Do the questions in the book reflect the real thing?

I used Barron's, and IMHO, the tests there are easier than the real one.

Unbelievable, eh?

Yeah i agree that the essay topic was pretty hard to write about. nevertheless there's always another chance in december

I actually used example of historical even, Vietnam war..-_-
can't think of anything else...
will it be fine? cuz.. the assingment didn't say i can use historical event as example. T.T
if my essay is little bit off the prompt, is it gonna fail my grade?
so.. mad about the prompt..

Ok i just remembered the the question asks "to what extent do you agree?" and all i put was that i agreed. ahhhh! and then like skylin35, i used the concept of war as one of my examples, but the test didn't say we could use historical examples! this test is looking bad for me so far!!!

wait you guys used vietnam war as an example of science vs. art? how? or did i have a diff question?

Man, I thought the art vs. science topic was easy. I was grinning from ear to ear when I read about it.

But then, I have a hard time writing about personal issues. So I guess it's just me. O.o

i just used a personal experience from a humanities fair that i entered.

I wrote a carbon copy of my Theory of Knowledge essay...maybe it was off-topic...mostly revolving around the Braque quote "art upsets; science reassures."

the science vs art one.....-____-'''

i extract an example from architecture

then i blanked out for awhlie when i was thinking about the second example.

My mom's in the Arts. I'm in Science... We have plenty to say to each other... I used our conversations on the essay as examples.

For those who think u didn't do well.. Don't worry. I left out 23 blanks for the MC, and wrote about a screw driver for my essay. GOD! WHY?WHY?WHY?

rofl !

i wrote about counter-strike for my essay, how both scientific precision and artistic intuition are needed to succeed.

j/k ;)

That essay prompt was just like one of the University of Michigan applications.. the relationship between art and science... i guess if you did that essay you were in good shape for this SAT

CS rocks bro.
