<p>If you are wondering which will open more doors for employment or graduate school, don't discount the enormous Penn State alumni network. It really works that way. (I really like both schools for engineering...son was accepted to both and I would have been happy with either.)</p>

<p>That's a tough one. I agree with most here that Case will probably afford the average student greater academic opportunities. However, PSU is not far behind Case in that regard and in terms of overall opportunities, I doubt Case matches PSU. But at PSU, you are going to have to rely on great inititive and some luck to get to those opportunities. </p>

<p>However, in terms of social atmosphere, those two schools could not be further apart. I really recommend you vist the two schools, sit in on some classes, talk to students and decide best on which school is the best fit for you.</p>

<p>Cheapseats, your school has 105 people applying to NYU???? OMG!!! How big is your class btw?</p>

<p>I don't really have an opinion on this since I don't know anything about engineering programs.</p>
