The last section of the IGETC is language other than English, and it can be fulfilled by a course, 2 years of high school language, or ap score, or whatever.

Spanish 101 fulfills this. I used my 2 years of high school Spanish to get the counselor to let me into Spanish 102 (next course in the sequence, and not explicitly listed on the thing). So apparently, they sent in my transcript to UCLA and said that I'm NOT IGETC CERTIFIED. alk;ghsalk;gh;lkagh;lkgh. Even if she didn't make a note that I did 2 years of Spanish in high school, whoever evaluated my IGETC circled that I did 102! They had to have known!

did u meet with a counselor? When my counselor was doing IGETC certification for me, I was there to explain the requirement for foreign language. I showed them my transcript from high school and we went over it.

Anyways, u should talk to ur counselors in person and explain to them about ur situation.

I was thinking the same as UCBorUCLA, with an emphasis on your high school transcript. Your CCC needs to know that you've finished it in high school, and your counselor's say probably isn't enough proof. Even if it may be obvious that you took its equivalent, it doesn't mean you're requesting credit for it.
