ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ok, i just have a quick question.
im going to send in my college application tomorrow. however, my teachers have not responded to my emails for teacher recommendations yet! can i send in my application, but have my teachers send in their recommendations later??? will it still count???????????? ahhhhhhh please answer! im freaking out!

yes u can. as long as everything is postmarked before the deadline its cool. meaning u can send in any items anytime before the deadlines.

thanks for replying!
but what do you mean "you can send in any items anytime before the deadlines"? i was wondering whether or not you could send in any items after the deadline

oh yes u can. if they ask for it. if you are missing something critical like a teacher recommendation after the deadline they'll surely ask you for it. but you have to submit your application first.

does it matter which school you're applying to? like are some schools more strict than others?

i know that chapel hill's ok with it. but im also applying to davidson college, emory university, and the college of william and mary

It's always better to have everything in before the deadline. However, sometimes you have no control over when guidance counselors, teachers, do their part. Send in your application and hound your teachers until they send in the recommendations. Emory's deadline is sthe 15th I believe, so you have a little time there.
