AICE MATH AND APUSH plus classes!!!

So…I have a dilemma.
My school offers a class called AICE math
AICE is a program from cambridge that many colleges count as an equivalent to an ap credit, it is a lot newer than ap.
Now AICE math is literally pre calc on steroids, EXTREMELY time consuming and very difficult, only a couple people pull off As. It is said to be harder than AP Calc. My school now offers pre calc honors as well. I do not know whether to take AICE math or pre calc honors because an A in an honors class is an equivalent to a B in a AICE/ap class. It would drop my gpa to a 3.9 if I got a B in AICE math but would keep my gpa at a 4.0. My rank would change significantly with the weight of an honors class though…and my rank is pretty good…top 1%. If I took AICE math I probably would not take apush since thats a super super heavy load but I would take AICE US instead which is less work and easier yet is weighted the same.
My classes for my junior year so far are
APUSH
AP Eng Lang
AP Chem
AP Art History
AICE Math
AICE Bio A level (second year…it is a research class)
I am aiming to get into Rice University as well

What are you thinking of in terms of college academics?
Your choice is aice us history+ aice math or honors precalculus + apush.
Florida’s public universities will weigh 2 aice as higher than 1 AP+ 1 honors.
Rice will reweight your GPA regardless.
It’s possible they’ll consider honors math and push as more rigorous simply because no one will know how your school does aice math and aice is supposed to be slightly less rigorous than AP and Precalculus honors is widely seen as the hardest precalculus class. You can ask your GC whether thy explain how hard aice math is at your school but I doubt it.
As long as you’re top 10% your rank is ok and you won’t see any difference in terms of college admissions due to just one class.

Thank you! AICE Math is the hardest math class offered at my school with AICE Chem being a close second. The amount of work is substantial and the concepts must be interpreted not just memorized. I think I will do Pre calc honors and APUSH since I feel like my course load is already quite hefty (but that is just me). I highly highly doubt one pre calc class will ruin my college admission chance, whether it be UF or Rice…
